Der Himmel über Berlin, the original movie title, directed by Wim Wenders was my inspiration for this sculpture. A dream-like scene of an elderly man reminiscing of peaceful times while the angel, Cassiel, listens from the swiveling stool nearby.
Materials include welded steel, glass marbles, brass lighting parts, miniature paper books, stainless steel mesh, and jewelry chain
